Our Mission

 I saw more clearly than ever, that the first great and primary business to which I ought to attend to each day was, to have my soul happy in the Lord. The first thing to be concerned about was not, how much I might serve the Lord, how much I might glorify the Lord; but how I might get my soul into a happy state, and how my inner man may be nourished.... I saw that the most important thing that I had to do was to give myself to the reading of the Word of God and to meditation on it.

WORD4WOMEN........

is a personal ministry for women. Begun in 2007 this ministry was formed to provide a resource for women and small churches in discipling and enriching women in accordance with the Word of God. 

As Christians 

....we are called to have the mind of Christ and to bear good fruit. Both of these callings cannot be accomplished outside of a full knowledge of the Word of God.

We at WORD4WOMEN are dedicated to using the Word of God to help women of all ages to study and apply the Word of God in their lives 

I have hidden your Word in my heart that I may not sin against thee....

Upcoming Bible Studies

Where have all the flowers gone? This is the title of a popular folk song in the 1960's. Though I could sing the same refrain and ask where have all the Titus Two women gone? Do you have a Spiritual Mother? Is there a godly woman you can turn to regularly? Come join with us as we study the Legacy of Biblical Womanhood by Susan Hunt and Barbara Thompson. This is our current study.

About Cindy,

The Founder of Word4Women is Cindy Bailey, a self proclaimed lover of the WORD. Having personally experienced the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the renewing power of the Word of God, she desires to share and teach the Word to women of all ages, that they may live a life of abundance thus glorifying God.

Cindy is wife to Greg Bailey, mother of three: Melissa, Rick & Kate, mother-in-love to Jeff and Nanna to Jackson and Bailey. She and her husband recently moved to Summerville, SC and are sharing a home with Melissa and her family and her two grandchildren. She also has the pleasure of enjoying lots of love and licks from our granddog Ginny and our two great granddogs Kaya and Ben all Golden Retrievers.

Being the first recipient of a Certificate in Women's Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, she has continued in her training by completing Tract I in Biblical Counseling from the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors, and has completed several courses through the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation.
